Using coreFusion's hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server solution is a cost effective way to introduce BlackBerry handhelds into your enterprise. From our hosted server, you have access to Mobile Data Services (MDS) for full HTML web browsing using the BlackBerry Browser, as well as your own email address.
Starting with basic services like your own email address and MDS, you can add features such as:
- 3rd party applications
- Custom applications
- Dedicated server
How does it work?
After you have acquired your handheld device, coreFusion will add your info to our hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server. In addition to configuring you to use the BES, we also need to cross certify our Domino BES server with your Domino mail server, or create a VPN connection to your Exchange server. Then, when you send mail from your handheld, our hosted BES will put a copy into your mail file and when mail arrives at your mailbox, the hosted BES will forward a copy to your handheld.
Using the Desktop software that comes with the handheld device, or right from the hand held device, you can customize which messages will be forwarded as well as set a signature for your outgoing mail, look up your contacts, manage your calendar and surf the web.
If you do not already have a Domino or Exchange mail server, coreFusion can supply you with a hosted mailbox on a Domino or Exchange server. You can then access your mailbox using a Lotus Notes client, iNotes Web Access, or POP mail client such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express as well as your handheld device.
coreFusion supports all current BlackBerry carriers Worldwide. With clients in several countries on many carriers, coreFusion is uniquely qualified to provide BES hosting.
